BIO
Barton Mathews is a Brit who after graduating in International Business has lived in New Zealand, Japan, Canada and now the U.S. Over the last 8 years, he’s worked his way up from an entry level role to leading the North American sales team at Eurobound.
At the beginning of COVID, he redesigned the business to operate fully remotely, and business is now much leaner and stronger for it. His achievements include first place on the Rail Europe Dream Itinerary competition which had thousands of entries, for designing an itinerary called Pastries, Port and Paella; speaking at a TED Talk; and creating and designing a series of cook-along webinars for advisors.
Since leading the Eurobound North American sales team, Eurobound has experienced outstanding record growth in terms of the total sales, the number of trips designed and positive feedback metrics.
Barton is 35 years old.
